Serre Chevalier comprises three main villages of Chantemerle, Villeneuve and Monetier-les-bains and the city of Briançon. All linked by ski runs and local bus services, stretching 16km along the valley.

Villeneuve, Serre Chevalier 1400m, has become the hub of Serre Chevalier with a great choice of restaurants including the recently added 'Mojo' cocktail bar.
There is no doubt in our minds, however, that the best place to unwind after a hard days skiing in Serre Chevalier is our very own 'Le Frog' at the bottom of the ‘Casse de Boeuf’. |

| Chantemerle, Serre Chevalier 1350m, home of skiing legend and local hero Luc Alphand, is well worth a visit for lunch and is home of the English owned aptly named 'Extreme Bar'. The Loup Blanc restaurant also comes highly recommended. |

| Monetier-les-bains, Serre Chevalier 1450, the highest town in Serre Chevalier and so named because of the naturally occurring and wonderfully relaxing hot springs and outside spa baths. |

Briançon, Serre Chevalier 1250m is the highest city in Europe and since Roman times it has been an important stronghold for France protecting the 'Col de Montgenevre' mountain pass to Italy.
The city has been fortified and the old town is enclosed with another set of walls, an all year round tourist attraction.
The lower town of Briancon is linked to the Serre Chevalier ski area by a ski lift giving access to the 250km of ski able area all the way down the valley past Chantemerle, Villeneuve towards Monetier. |
