***SAVE up to £300 per week*** Chalet Skiandoo last few weeks remaining! Click here to visit the chalet.

OK. Here they are. The photos you have all been waiting for! The first day on the pistes yesterday (15th December) and what a day. Tons of fluffy snow, sunshine and just a little vin chaud!

A perfect day for finding our ski (or indeed board) legs. Feel the burn.

Temperatures at night are still around -10 but soar to around 0 again in the afternoon sun.

Lots of snow over the weekend has seen us all, especailly Craig, very busy moving snow around.

All these photos were taken yesterday, except the photo of the Le Frog terrace tables which was taken on Sunday morning. Just after the terrace was cleared it snowed the same amount again!

Introducing the newest edition to the Tadpole Holidays Team. Craig Farrell, 17 from Edinburgh, joined us 5th December this year. Craig will be taking on the role of hosty for both the ski-to-door apartments in Villeneuve and Chalet Skiandoo.

Already fully kitted out with snowboard, boots and all things green & Tadpole-like Craig is easily identifiable with his pencil permanently lodged over his ear!!

A very warm welcome.

No entries on the blog for a few days... we've been either digging out cars buried in the snow or skiing in Montgenevre (open this weekend).

Have a look at these two sites. They both feature videos of the snow fall.

We have had suspicions for a while but it is worthy of note that some guests next winter actually admit they are counting the days until their holiday.

I won’t mention any names – of course. You know who you are! Stephen Sandilands!

How many now? 84 days? Watch out my Grandma used to tell me that a watched kettle never boils. Still it’s better than home improvements.

The very first blog entry of the 2007/8 winter season - wow time flies when you are busy setting up Tadpole Holidays (& Le Frog) for another great Serre Chevalier season.

With the addition of two hotels & a huge chalet to our proposed accommodation we are really excited about the next five months. We have never been in such a great position to offer our guests the very best of Serre Chevalier.

The most urgent item on the to-do list is to continue to promote the 4th annual Snowkitemasters & French Freestyle Snowkite Championships taking place 15-22nd December 2007. We are again hosting the accommodation for the riders, both pro and amateur, in apartments & hotels. Registrations are going well & interest high in an event that gets better and better year after year.
